The Impact of Rod's Work
I’ve been studying Tantra and yoga with Rod for over 15 years, which has profoundly transformed my life. His wisdom, compassionate teaching, and ability to connect ancient practices with modern life have empowered me to cultivate a richer, more fulfilling existence both on and off the mat.
Rosie Acosta
Bestselling Author, Podcast Host, Teacher & Author
Rod’s understanding of the yoga tradition and his capacity to pass on the true depth alive in the canon of Tantra, Vedanta, and the Vedas are in a class of their own. Time and again, he delivers the most prolific teachings in the most direct way. Rod makes the complex simple, the simple applicable, and the applicable profound.

Meditation & Conscious Leadership
It cannot be overstated how deep of an impact that this community and teachings have had on my personal and teaching practice. I've been able to not only gain a more embodied understanding of inner wisdom, but also able to translate some of the more subtle practices and understandings into living a life full of clarity, compassion and service.

Meet Rod
More Than Four Decades Exploring Human Transformation
Throughout his life, Rod Stryker has been guided by a central question: What enables us to do more than just live, but to do so with the greatest clarity, purpose, resilience, and joy?
An early interest in philosophy and psychology led him at twenty to yoga, meditation, and the contemplative teachings of Tantra. Decades of close study with master teachers, sustained personal practice, and teaching around the world shaped his distinct contribution: translating profound traditional wisdom into practical methods for modern life.
A pioneering American teacher, author, and educator, Rod was among the early Western teachers who helped popularize Yoga Nidra and has taught thousands of students and trained generations of teachers internationally. He is the bestselling author of The Four Desires.
Today, his work continues to evolve at the intersection of contemplative practice, modern psychology, neuroscience, and purposeful living. Through books, courses, guided practices, trainings, and live events, Rod offers evidence-informed tools to quiet the mind, deepen resilience, rediscover purpose, and create lasting positive change—while fully engaging the complexity and richness of life.
